Job Summary

Roll up your sleeves and put your best software engineering skills to work in this programming-centric quality engineer role. We are building a full-stack test automation platform to enable rapid test case development as we continue to work towards a full BDD and TDD model. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to CI/CD pipelines, incubate our performance and scalability suite, and design business-critical infrastructure in a stimulating and highly collaborative startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with development teams to identify end-to-end test scenarios and build them into automation
  • Translate core business logic into common framework code that can be used by developers and testers alike
  • Offer leadership on how to formulate good test cases and user scenarios
  • Contribute to story planning and estimation
  • Track and report quality metrics from scheduled automated testing

Job Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred

Functional Skills

  • 5+ years of professional experience writing test automation
  • Willingness to work in Javascript and/or Typescript required
  • Previous Mocha or Cypress framework experience desirable but not necessary
  • Any Jenkins CI/CD, Docker, Cucumber, or AWS experience is a plus

Compensation Data

Compensation range for this position is $81,900 - $148,600 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.

The minimum starting salary for this role is $93,000 per year.
