The Insurance Product Management Senior Consultant II provides support for Product Management leaders in achieving profit and growth targets for insurance products. This role will support in the design development of personal lines insurance products. This position will work with small to medium agile and business teams to support the product build and delivery countrywide, as well as help manage the lifecycle of the products. This role will also help other business units, inside and outside of Product Line Management, ideate, explore and prepare product enhancements and solutions.
- Supports the delivery and coordination of roadmap items into the marketplace through all the steps in the product lifecycle, with an emphasis on insurance product design to start
- Is a go/to expert for business partners to help navigate and move work through exploration and refinement and into the Product Family offerings
- Actively participate in coordinated efforts across the organization to facilitate the design, development and implementation of initiatives
- Influence team members and perform activities to ensure appropriate development and implementation of products
- Communicates in a timely manner and clearly to business stakeholders; writes & gives short presentations to various audiences
- Considered by peers as strong thought partner and participates in group meetings, leads and facilitates meetings as needed including those with other business partners
- Contribute to the achievement of short- and long-term strategies to achieve market share growth and profitability targets on a countrywide basis
- Manage / perform complex work assignments and problem resolution across systems, processes or channels and navigate obstacles to deliver the work product
- Analyze and communicate results; make recommendations to leaders as needed
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
3+ years relevant experience
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Advanced knowledge about business in general, knowledge of industry and company economics
Advanced insurance product, pricing and underwriting knowledge
Advanced problem-solving skills
Ability to use data and research to tell a story
Ability to consistently achieve superior results
Demonstrated sense of curiosity and desire to solve problems
Demonstrated and foster a sense of urgency, strong commitment and accountability for achieving results
Ability to understand business tactics to support changing business strategies and direction
Collaborates to implement decisions and / or initiatives in an integrated manner
Proven ability to effectively network and communicate with different types and levels of staff, both written and verbal
Compensation for this position will be $64,700 to $112,000/year. Actual salary offered will depend on selected candidate's experience and qualifications.
The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
