We are seeking a Claims Adjuster to become a part of our organization! This role should have experience with Bodily Injury, Workers Comp, Disability and LTC claims.
- Accurately interprets policy language and executes accordingly.
- Documents rational for claim direction
- Timely handling of mail and correspondence
- Communicates with claimants/representatives via phone, e-mail, letter or fax.
- Handles incoming calls and returns voice mail messages timely.
- Manages daily reports to assure productive claim handling.
Prerequisites for the Job:
- Three to five years previous claims experience or equivalent.
- Proficiency in oral and written English language communication.
- Willingness to work cooperatively with others.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and projects under time constraints.
- Previous experience using email, Internet, Windows and Microsoft Office and other applicable computer systems.
