The State Manager Analyst II is responsible for contributing to the attainment of profit and growth targets for an assigned state/market or line(s) of business. They design, develop and analyze and manage strategies and initiatives using product, pricing, and risk management skills to achieve business goals.Key Responsibilities:
With direction and support, conducts routine analysis of the marketplace, competitive position and business results and articulates findings that support the development the local strategies to ensure business objectives are being achieved.
• Assists with low to medium complexity projects using proper analytical techniques
• Tracks own plan performance and project plan or timeline communicating with business partners to set expectations
• Ensures project controls are in place throughout the lifecycle of the project on individually assigned tasks
• Develops basic working knowledge of all Allstate personal lines product, price and risk management policy and processes and competitor intelligence tools and resources (including basic knowledge of underwriting systems and technologies)
• Participate in development, execution and implementation of local underwriting and line management strategies as directed
• Assures proper execution of regulatory/ legislative practices for Product Management
• Understands internal and external compliance requirements/standards and recommends adjustments to strategies as needed
• Provide project specific expertise on questions, education and/or communications in partnership with regional operations team
Education and Experience
0-2 years of related experience preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Basic analytic and problem-solving skills
Experience in evaluation and summarization of data
Intermediate written and oral communication skills with ability to effectively communicate specialized terms and data
Experience working in Excel, Tableau, and other analytical software
Basic knowledge of product, price, risk management and insurance regulation knowledge,
Peer leadership experience
Good collaboration and relationship skills
Ability to plan, implement, manage, and/or sponsor projects of small to medium complexity and/or small to medium scale key initiatives using accepted project management standards

Compensation for this position will be $42,100 to $63,800/year. Actual salary offered will depend on selected candidate's experience and qualifications.
The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
