About the Role
A newly created role, the Insurance Agency Claims Assistant supports the Claims Manager with processing and administrative duties. Here are a few talking points on the position:
- The agency’s department functions as a consulting arm; a “go-between” helping commercial insurance clients navigate the claims process.
- When claims occur, you will gather information to assist with filing a claims report.
- You will double check all the details in their policy and their claims report for accuracy.
- You’ll follow up on open cases and help answer questions for clients on timing and resolution.
