Assistant Commercial Lines Underwriting Manager

Management opportunity!

This position can be remote for someone who lives in the Midwest, Southwest or West Coast. Travelling to Home Office will be required. Our client is looking for someone with an entrepreneur spirit. Someone who has progressive thinking in moving the company forward. Ability to build strong relationships while providing excellent customer service. This role will also promote and help build the company's brand.

Will provide direction, guidance and mentorship to the Underwriting Team, will oversee the daily activities and operations of the Department. Responsible for managing Underwriting Team, to assure attainment of underwriting goals related to standards, date reporting, and system support. Focus on developing and monitoring key department metrics and goals along with the implementation of plans to bring the department in line with those goals.

• 10 or more years experience in Commercial Underwriting 
• 2 or more years of experience supervising a Team
• Ability to travel as needed
