Senior Commercial Lines Client Manager - Management Liability

About the Role

Private Equity, Venture Capital and similar investment firms want to know their insurance broker can handle more than the basic Ps and Qs because their business activities pose unique and challenging risks. You will join one of the country’s largest insurance broker’s Management Liability practice as Senior Commercial Insurance Client Manager. You will work closely with the internal sales & service teams as well as external partners (client, insurance companies) to effectively manage multiple clients in a book of business with a focus on public and private Directors & Officers Insurance.

Duties & Responsibilities

50%- Account Management (high degree of client engagement; monitoring in-force policies, preparing for renewals, general policy maintenance and researching/resolving accounting & collection issues)

50%- Marketing (compiling applications, reviewing loss/claims information, gathering key information from clients, prepare insurance proposals and participate in client renewal presentations)

Skills & Experience

• At least five (5) years of Commercial Property and Casualty insurance experience with a retail insurance broker or insurance company
• Ability to apply marketing & risk management knowledge of management liability risk exposures and coverage to client business model
• Broad management liability coverage background to include Directors & Officers, Employment Practices Liability, Errors and Omissions and fiduciary liability

Job Specs

Location: The company has multiple offices throughout California, Colorado and the Pacific Northwest. You can work remotely (which they are doing now with COVID) or near a current office.
