Sr. Trial Attorney

Our client, a well-established company has asked us to help them find them a high achieving Sr, Trial Attorney  in San Francisco/Oakland area for their company counsel office which handles insurance civil claims cases.

This position is 100% defense work will be responsible for handing a wide variety of civil personal injury cases including those of high complexity to trial. Cases are mainly BI. Must have the ability to handle whatever high value cases come in the door (6-7 figure)

Position is remote for now. Courts in CA are closed or remote. Interviewing, hiring, and on boarding are virtual. After pandemic, flexibility depending on person's schedule. May only be in the office 1 or 2 days per week.

The ideal candidate:

• JD and CA State Bar in good standing
• 7-10+ years experience as an attorney with insurance defense and civil jury trial experience, preferably to verdict.
• People person with strong communication skills
• Claims litigation experience is preferred
• Capable of handling cases of moderate to high exposure
• Ability to work in a fast-paced trial-focused culture
• Travel within the state for depositions, hearing trials etc. (when such travel is allowed)
• Prior experience mentoring other attorneys
• Landlord-tenant and HOA experience +++
