The Workers Compensation Premium In House Audit Reviewer leverages a background in workers compensation auditing with strong analytical and communication skills to review and complete premium audits. This person will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals that are set forth by the supervisor. The Audit Reviewer will resolve routine questions and problems that may arise from the audit and will occasionally be called upon to orient and train other team members in audit processes and fundamentals.

Responsibilities:

  • In house audit reviewer, analyzing and managing workers compensation policies.
  • Strong professional analysis and communication, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external stakeholders including insurance agents and insured customer risk management teams.
  • Administering and monitoring carrier auditing rules and guidelines.
  • Provide support for Premium Billing Associate’s position as required.

Required Experience:

  • Practical experience auditing and managing multi-state workers compensation policies.
  • General understanding of workers compensation workflow processes, and knowledge of auditing philosophy, techniques and workers compensation regulation.

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter capable of independent research and analysis.
  • Strong detail and organization skills.
  • Team player, but willing to and capable of working independently within guidelines.
  • Ability to multi-task, including working in a time-sensitive environment driven by expiration dates.
  • Perform or assist with any other assignments as required or directed.
