Job Details
The Agency Licensing Coordinator is responsible for the management of Independent Insurance Agent appointments, licensing, records maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the agency online applications generated from our website
- Interview prospective agents to determine if they qualify for the next step in possibly being appointed
- Appoint all agents and complete the setup in PTS
- Appoint all sub producers and complete the setup in PTS
- Appoint all branch locations and complete the setup in PTS
- Compile the agency paperwork for agents, producers and branches and input them into Image Right
- Coordinate with States with regard to compliance, licensing, fees, billings, etc.
- Terminate agents, producers and branches, as needed
- Coordinate with agents to collect paperwork for updated licenses and Errors & Omissions coverage
- Support the agents with regard to bank changes, address changes, usernames, passwords and password resets
- Assist with supporting the SalesForce CRM system, running reports, getting the updates, changing and adding fields within the system
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Two + years of relevant experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills (Outlook, Word, Adobe, and Excel)
- Knowledge of personal lines products, with an emphasis on homeowners coverages
- Knowledge of and ability to use standard industry programs and websites
- Very high attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and collaborate with colleagues within and across departments
