JOB SUMMARY:

Provide underwriting and administrative support for the Company Casualty Program.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

(This list includes most duties; however, it is not meant to be all-inclusive, nor prevent other duties from being assigned as necessary.)

 

· Act as the contact person for service questions from brokers and members. Coordinate information requests between retail and placement brokers. Hold placement brokers accountable so that members’ expectations can be met.

· Provide technology support to members and brokers (website, Claim Pilot, CITS, applications, Claim Zone Reporter, etc.)

· Act as Administrator for Salesforce.

· Maintain member insurance files, including documentation regarding coverage issues, premiums, and deductibles.

· Collect, review, and submit submission data for casualty renewal, network security & privacy liability renewal and personal umbrella renewal (personal umbrella program non-renewing 2/11/19).

· Provide input on individual member renewal premiums and ensure all “one-off” charges, state surcharges, surplus lines taxes and other charges are accounted for, as well as ensure overall accuracy of allocation.

· Prepare and communicate renewal quotations and proposals to members and brokers.

· Provide carrier with summary of allocation and individual member applications.

· Provide accurate premium, tax and fee information and provide to accounting for invoicing. Assist with collection as necessary.

· Issue binders. Review and distribute policies and endorsements, at renewal and mid-term.

· Participate actively in achieving the organization’s annual ”new business” goal. Review and analyze submissions, provide guidance to Director of New Business related to additional information needed, stratify loss information and create loss summaries, suggest and discuss pricing, and prepare proposals.

· Identify loss control opportunities and work with President and/or Risk Manager to recommend solutions.

· Assist in development of technology tools (website, Claim Pilot, CITS, Claim Zone Reporter, etc.).

· Lead or actively participate in the development of new potential product offerings.

· Provide loss runs to members and brokers upon request.

· Participate in meetings with carriers as required.

· Oversee and assist members with SCHIP registration and continued compliance.

· Support the coordination of activities with other staff in order to carry out the mission of the company.
