Field Sales Rep - Commercial Transportation Insurance

About the Role

As Field Sales Rep you’ll join a nationally recognized program administrator that’s provided innovative insurance products to the trucking industry for over 20 years. They design low cost, high value and convenient owner operator fleet insurance platforms. The company has one of the largest owner-operator insurance programs in the country because of their state-of-the art technology and customer service that streamlines billing, fleet management and market access.

Duties & Responsibilities

You will join the sales team to increase new business development opportunities and meet the unique needs of clients working in the trucking industry.

• Identify, drive and close new sales opportunities with retail insurance agencies that write commercial transportation business, in particular Owner-Operator fleets
• Promote client service, proprietary systems and other value added services that provide solutions these agencies and motor truck carriers face managing the administration of insurance for owner/operators

Skills & Experience

• At least 2-3 years of insurance industry sales and business development experience
• Truck insurance knowledge (auto liability, physical damage and occupational accident) is preferred along with retail agent or motor carrier relationships
• Work-from-home arrangement but travel is expected

Compensation

$75k to $100k target salary range depending on experience
