Job Summary

In the Front-End Center of Excellence, you will join a team of Front-End Engineers that are passionate about applying new UI technologies and trends to simplify the interface between human and machine. We are seamlessly connecting brand language, technology stacks, and experiences while working with our technology partners to continuously deploy production software.

So, if you’re ready to bring your best tech solutions to life – we’re looking for a Sr. Front-End Engineer who is ready to take risks and think outside the box as we look to transform the way the insurance industry operates. 

Key Responsibilities and ability to demonstrate the following:

  • Drive Front-End excellence through best practices such as object-oriented design, open source platforms, test-driven development, cross device/browser compatibility and accessibility 
  • Explore cutting edge technologies and UI/Front-End industry trends for future adoption 
  • Specialize in architecting design systems & component libraries 
  • In-browser design familiarity 
  • Knowledge of design tools like Adobe Suite & Sketch 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years related experiences 
  • Deep understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS practices 
  • Knowledgeable of latest technologies, industry trends, and design patterns 
  • Experience in responsive single page application development 
  • Familiarity with large scale component libraries 
  • Ability to design and envision experiences iteratively in a lean environment 
  • Familiarity with UX trends, methodologies and expert skill with UX tools. 
  • Experience in developing rapid prototypes. 

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
