We are looking for a Graphic Designer to join our growing marketing & communications team. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creative design services to support both NSMs B2B and B2C insurance campaigns with the goal of driving leads, as well as the companys HR/employee communications and social media presence. You will be designing a wide variety of things across digital and offline media.

In this role, you will report to the Head of Marketing & Communications but will also work closely with our Creative Director to ensure designs hit the mark and are according to specifications.

To be successful in this role, you should be open to learning, have a keen eye for detail and the ability to create impressive designs that promote the companys goals and vision.


  • Design and development of marketing and advertising collateral, including brochures, direct mail, HTML emails, quarterly newsletters, print advertising, tradeshow signage and promotional items, digital advertising/creative, infographics, social media graphics and company websites
  • Design and development of employee communications materials, including monthly newsletter and social media graphics
  • Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting for approval
  • Develop short videos/graphics for use on social channels; motion graphics and video editing skills a plus
  • Attend weekly marketing status meetings and calls with program business owners regarding creative projects and needs
  • Collaborating with the team to launch projects
  • Using feedback from other designers to improve
  • Communicating with internal clients about layout and design of their materials and incorporating their feedback or requested changes

  • 3-5 years of working experience as a graphic designer
  • Highly creative and innovative, with demonstratable graphic design skills and strong portfolio
  • Strong proficiency with design software and desktop publishing tools, including InDesign, Adobe Suite, Photoshop, Quark, Illustrator and WordPress; knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Print and web design capabilities: must know how to work with both types of media for integrated campaigns
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to effectively collaborate with team members
  • Models behaviors consistent with a high-performance culture must be highly resourceful, self-motivated, accountable and adaptive to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment; can effectively handle multiple tasks at one time
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on companys success
  • Meticulous detail orientation, with ability to organize projects/due dates across multiple brand owners/internal clients
  • Able to provide and receive constructive criticism on designs
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
  • Bachelor's Degree in graphic design, art/fine arts or a related field
