As director of claims process, youll influence business goals and strategies, gain leadership commitment to action, develop insight into current operations and industry trends, and identify root causes of business opportunities. Youll be responsible for critical initiatives, integration and process design for both property and multiline catastrophe/weather response within our Progressive Home and National Catastrophe (CAT) organizations.

Must-have qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business (Operations, Administration, Technology, Finance) or Engineering and/or minimum of seven years property casualty insurance experience or related professional experience such as analytical work in a professional setting of which five years has been in a leadership role for operations, process or project management

  • Proven change leader with significant five years operational (leadership/management), process and/or project management experience

Preferred skills

  • Minimum three years industry leadership experience, with a specific focus on property (homeowners) and/or catastrophe response

  • Proven experience translating initiatives into actions, inclusive of implementation plan development and consideration of metrics to support success

  • Ability to initiate, develop, and maintain strategic relationships with stakeholders and effectively manage strategic partnerships

  • Commitment to transparent, influential communication that drives success

  • Ability to effectively leverage insights of individuals with diverse backgrounds
