This position is open to any of our branch offices in Michigan.

As a PIP litigation rep on our Claims team, youll resolve payment disputes on personal injury claims, such as denied medical services. Ensuring the claims process runs efficiently for our customers, youll evaluate medical reports and prepare written documentation to bring successful resolution to claims.

Starting your role from the comfort of your home, youll be provided office equipment and virtual training. However, as circumstances change, such as the situation with COVID-19, you may be required to work full-time in our office location.


Duties & responsibilities

  • Consult and/or negotiate with internal and external legal counsel

  • Process arbitration decisions, review arbitration requests and lawsuits to determine actions warranted (defense or settlement)

  • Seeks to resolve disputes on unpaid medical bills via settlement or defense

  • May attend legal proceedings including depositions, hearings or trials

Must-have qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • Instead of a degree, five years of relevant work experience (e.g., claims adjuster in Medical claims or other relevant claims experience, position that developed or required the ability to think critically, solve problems, effectively communicate verbally and in writing, and embrace new challenges)
