Reporting directly to the US FP&A Leader, the Distribution Planning and Analytics Leader will be responsible for overseeing and owning financial planning and analysis support for the GRM US Distribution Function.
In this role you will serve as financial advisor to the GRM US Distribution leader and team. Youll provide financial guidance and serve as a catalyst for reaching GRM US goals, while also bringing critical Distribution perspective to GRM US Finance. You will partner with function leadership on financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis activities across all of our Distribution channels (Direct, IA, EA, Partnership). Youll align their plans, forecasts and reporting output with GRM US strategy and influence the Global Retail Markets US Executive Leadership Team and all relevant stakeholders across the US region. In addition, youll provide critical inputs to support the US CFO, US COO, and US FLT for all functional requests related to FP&A. You will also work across the US FP&A teams to ensure the integrity of planning, forecasting and reporting activities, and influence GRM US Functional leaders.
Youll need to collaborate across the US FP&A team to set plan guidance, understand key functional trends and drivers, perform ad-hoc analyses, and help prioritize initiatives across GRM US. As part of the leadership team of US FP&A, youll play a key role in the development and engagement of the team and work closely with a range of analysts to deliver on your functions FP&A needs. While you will not manage direct reports in the system, youll be expected to coach and develop members of the US FP&A team and will be viewed as a key stakeholder and mentor to those with whom you collaborate to accomplish your objectives.
Additionally, the Distribution Planning and Analytics Leader will be expected to work closely with other functional leaders to identify trends and opportunities that cross functional boundaries as well as ensure that relevant insights are shared across US FP&A. This collaboration and knowledge sharing will be critical to the success of US FP&A as well as to GRM US overall.
Lead FP&A business partner for GRM US Distribution, focusing on analyzing, monitoring, and driving improved business performance through financial and strategic analysis. Responsible for financial and some operational reporting and ad hoc analyses for GRM US Distribution
Collaborate and align with the US FP&A Leader and relevant GRM FP&A team leads on functional financial strategy. Review strategic guidance received from leadership and translate to high-level financial targets.
Review business performance with GRM US Distribution leadership and align on future targets in collaboration with FP&A business partners
Communicate business targets, planning decisions, target KPIs, cost/expense management etc. to GRM US Distribution leadership
Influence prioritization of strategic initiatives within GRM US Distribution, ensuring we have mechanisms to hold the function accountable to both operational and financial KPI commitments
Champion expense management and efficiency efforts across the function you support; drive expense management discussions across functional leadership; make recommendations and influence efficiency decisions. Serve as a financial challenger to the business
Serve as a financial advisor to senior functional leaders, bringing broad financial expertise and perspective to the function and a clear operational perspective to US Finance when building financial plans and influencing strategic decisions
Champion the transformation of processes, technology and delivery with support of the GRM Finance capability teams to deliver a more effective and efficient FP&A processes and organization
Collaborate with US FP&A teams to inform and influence planning, budgeting and forecasting processes for the US functional financial planning and forecasting activities. Review and approve US Function annual plans and forecast and align with US Financial Planning and Analysis Leader, and Functional stakeholders
Act as senior leader within US Finance. Interview, coach, and develop employees. Collaborate with peers to appropriately prioritize work and manage capacity across the US FP&A
Bachelor`s degree (Accounting or Finance). CPA or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of accounting or finance experience. Must demonstrate ability to execute thoroughly in a fast-paced work environment, adapting quickly to changing conditions to achieve results.
Possesses superior communication skills to influence and collaborate with all levels of the organizations to gain support for ideas and execute on projects that deliver value to customers.
Comfortable leading meetings, making strategic recommendations to executive leadership and giving presentations to large audiences.
Advanced understanding of Finance Tools and Analytical Methods. Previous experience working with expenses a plus.
