Minnesota Workers’ Compensation Insurers Association (MWCIA) is looking for a part-time Assigned Risk Technician.

This person will be responsible for reviewing, sorting, and processing online and hardcopy assigned risk applications to determine whether an application can be bound or requires additional processing or rejection.

This person will also be responsible for calculating premium and assigning applications according to plan guidelines. Qualified persons must have excellent communications skills while responding to diverse populations via phone and email. Qualifications include making decisions in accordance to established guidelines, rules and procedures; ability to enter information with a high degree of accuracy and speed; knowledge of PC operations and 10 key; ability to understand the Assigned Risk Plan and understand worker’s compensation laws of Minnesota and the Basic Manual.
