Job Description

The Product Filing Analyst is primarily responsible for filing group and individual supplemental health and life products under Allstate Benefits. The Product Filing Analyst will assist in the development and drafting of new products, product revisions, and compliance items, and serves as subject matter expert on state and federal insurance product regulations and state filing requirements. 

**This position reports to our Jacksonville, FL office and will require you to sit onsite once the office reopens and regular operations resume.**

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop contract language for new products, product revisions, and compliance items
  • Research state and federal insurance laws to ensure compliance with product regulations and state filing requirements
  • Prepare, review, and submit form and rate filings to state departments of insurance (DOIs)
  • Respond to objections and questions from DOIs related to the filing submission in order to bring outstanding filings to a resolution in a timely manner
  • Communicate updates on status of ongoing filings and deliver newly-approved forms to business areas for implementation.
  • Partner with multiple internal business units to accurately implement the newly-approved forms

Job Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in health and life insurance industry or a legal background preferred.
  • Prior product filing experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of insurance-related websites preferred.

  • None

  • Advanced computer skills and Microsoft Office knowledge required.
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities.
