We are looking for a Regulatory Compliance Coordinator to provide all aspects of compliance and product support by working collaboratively with various internal departments as well as state regulators to ensure that we follow all laws, regulations and industry standard methodologies specific to our multiple lines of insurance products.


  • Documenting and inventorying key Federal and State Laws and Regulations by Business Unit and Line of Business and monitoring them for changes
  • Monitor state notices and bulletins for updates and make changes when necessary
  • Ensure our system is up to date with new compliance issues
  • Coordinate interaction with all business units to audit procedures and processes to make sure the units follow state laws
  • Provide direction and support to business units by leading a monthly Test Compliance Committee meeting
  • Lead the creation of materials for each Compliance meeting, take minutes and enact new measures
  • Create and maintain reports to send to Executive Management periodically detailing compliance activities and oversight
  • Assist in new state entry and compliance questions across the company
  • Develop and maintain personal contacts with state insurance department staff. Represent the company at industry meetings

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
  • ARC designation preferred
  • Must have at least 5 years experience in regulatory compliance
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Excellent problem solving and regulatory interpretation skills
  • Ability to interact with multiple levels of staff and state regulatory authorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel and Word
  • A knack for attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in conjunction with others
  • Flexibility to work on multiple projects with the ability to meet tight deadlines
