Claims Manager

Finger Lakes Fire & Casualty Company a regional property & casualty insurance company located in the heart of the finger lakes of New York State, is currently looking to fill the position of Claims Manager. We are a well-managed, financially sound & service-oriented company and are rated A by A.M. Best Company.

Our underwriting & claims departments have many years of experience in their areas of expertise & are always ready to assist in a timely & expeditious manner. We are frequently complimented on our speed & accuracy in supplying quotes, making underwriting decisions & responding to claims.

The individual we are searching for must have:

· Bachelors Required or equivalent preferred

· Minimum of 7 years' field claims settlement and management experience

· CPCU, ARM, AIM and or AIC certificates preferred.

· Experience and detailed knowledge of P&C claim insurance.

· Strong insurance acumen regarding NYS insurance regulations.

· A confident presenter and self-starter.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Demonstrated ability to work hands-on with personnel across various levels with the organization.

· Strong integrity and strong leadership skills.
