Advise Insurance seeks a full-time Licensed Field Sales Agent for the Evansville, IN area.

Purpose and Objective
The Field Sales Agent meets with prospective customers in their doctor’s offices, homes, or other designated areas in order to generate sales for Company clients. Agents will self-generate and be assigned leads for follow-up and may also conduct seminars and/or lead other events as assigned by market leaders.

Travel Requirements
This position must have reliable transportation and is required to travel to sales appointments anywhere in the metro or suburban market area daily.

Essential Functions

  • Meet with prospective customers in response to inside sales inquiries

  • Self-generate outside sales to meet or exceed sales plan

  • Conduct educational seminars at various locations within the territory

  • Set up and operate information tables throughout territory

  • Ensure a positive customer experience and satisfaction through relationship building

  • Work within set performance measurements designated by the Company

  • Use Company’s required technology to manage leads and record enrollments

  • Attend Company meetings

  • Complete required training and programs

  • Effectively conduct sales meetings following Company’s process and materials

  • Must be able to supply a quiet work environment at home and supply internet that meets company standards

  • Must be able to take inbound or place outbound calls as required for prospects

Education/Experience/Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Licensure in Health Insurance

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • Excellent Motor Vehicle Report

  • Experience with Microsoft Office software products and Apple hardware

  • Reliable Transportation

Skills/Knowledge

  • Knowledgeable about Medicare program(s) and able to effectively answer prospect questions is preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Self-motivated and self-started

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Ability to resolve both people and logistical challenges quickly and professionally

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Keen attention to detail

  • Ability to uphold Advise expectations regarding attitude, attendance, appearance, productivity, and competence-compliance.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to sit for long periods of time, talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. You will be required to make multiple home or location visits which may require the ability to maneuver stairs, and daily walking. You may be required to move boxes of presentation materials for seminars, up to 40lbs.

Work Environment
This job will start out working from a remote location until a professional office environment is established. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, tablets, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
