Employee Benefits Account Manager
About the Role
A Third-Party Administrator (TPA) based in Chicago is on the cutting edge of health care plan management. They have immediate hiring needs for experienced Employee Benefits Account Managers with strong group health client management experience.
Insurance and Customer Service Experience We Are Looking For:
- At least three (3) years of group health plan account management/client service experience.
- Primary experience is customer service, not sales. Worked as an Account Manager, Benefits Specialist, Underwriter or similar capacity.
- You can attend sales presentations and client review meetings with the business development team.
- You can produce communication materials, conduct enrollment and education meetings, interpret plan information and resolve escalated claims issues.
State insurance license is required.
Flexible work schedule including option for a hybrid model after completing new hire training. They have a number of employees who split their week between working a few days in the office and a few days from home.
$70k-$85k salary range depending on experience and self-funded proficiency.
