Allstate Insurance Company has an exceptional career opportunity for a Field Property Adjuster in The East Bay! Candidates can be located in Dublin, Concord, Walnut Creek, or Hayward, CA!

What you will do:
- Research and respond to complex customer communications, concerns, conflicts or issues
- Review customer satisfaction results; participates in determining necessary personal and business unit action plans
- Use of Xactimate in conjunction with a Bluetooth Disto Laser measuring tool
- Notify insured of exposure over the policy limit
- Prepare damage estimate for complex claims
- Inspect and estimate water damage, hail damage, or smoke and fire damage in a dwelling
- Investigate, review, determine and verify complex coverage/policy information
- Provide coverage explanation to the customer
- Assist in file reviews and make recommendations to refer files to Home Office for escalation

Please note, there is a required 2-week training that will take place in Wheeling, IL.
Allstate Adjusters are required to maintain a valid state specific license to perform work duties. You may review state licensure requirements at www.NIPR.com.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of property claims handling experience strongly preferred
- Proven record of outstanding customer service delivery
- Prior experience using Xactimate is highly desired
- Merchandising experience is also a plus
- Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- Proven record for maintaining the highest level of personal and professional integrity
- Ability to interact effectively with internal or external customers and act with empathy
- Apply knowledge of insurance policy, coverage, and regulation
- Apply knowledge of claim processes, policies, procedures, claim systems, coverage, liability, damage estimating, and/or settlement, and adherence to applicable legal compliance standards
