ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR

Merchants Insurance Group is seeking a Administrative Coordinator to join our team in our Mt. Laurel, New Jersey regional office.  The Administrative Coordinator will work with and support our Claims, Marketing, Underwriting and Management teams in achieving our commercial lines insurance growth objectives with our independent agent partners.

The Administrative Coordinator will collaborate with the Regional Sales, Marketing and Management teams by scheduling and participating in agency events, meetings and conferences; preparing materials for agency calls and follow-ups and by providing daily support to the Sales and Marketing teams. This position will also work closely with our Claims and Underwriting teams by compiling, preparing and distributing all daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports necessary for monitoring and managing attainment of planned results. The Administrative Coordinator will also contribute to the efficient operation of the Regional Office by serving as the primary person responsible for coordinating office equipment, repair and replacement; setting up and hosting necessary colleague meetings, webinars and events; coordinating office maintenance, repairs and landlord communications; monitoring and ordering office supplies; supporting the mail, indexing and scanning process.

The preferred candidate will have a degree in communications, marketing or business, or equivalent work experience.  Previous insurance experience, with either an insurance agency or company is desired.  Excellent customer service, communication, organizational and computer skills along with a detail orientation are required.
