Reporting Analyst II - SSRS

POSITION SUMMARY:

Creates and generates recurring and ad hoc reports using intermediate knowledge of SQL databases and SSRS tools. May be responsible for providing ongoing data management (e.g. production table updates). Maintains current query tools and responsible for updates when systems change.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Generates reports on frequent and scheduled basis by gathering requested information and data and compiling into proper formatting
• Performs basic quality checks for accuracy
• Reviews and forwards information to requestor
• Provides ad hoc reporting by receiving request and determining how and where to retrieve the data
• Creates basic query or changes public query to retrieve date and compiles into proper format
• Updates production tables and databases as needed

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of similar functional work experience (e.g., reporting)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Experience with SSRS is strongly preferred
• Complex SQL query writing skills preferred
• QC/QA experience would also be preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
• Demonstrated attention to detail
• Ability to organize and prioritize
