Director of Business Development

About the Role
Built upon a solid foundation of construction and retail insurance distribution expertise, but also serving all “Main Street USA” businesses, their product suite, employee friendly culture, and development of technologies to maximize business efficiencies for their brokers are drivers of their success and growth.

The Director of Business Development will be responsible for leading a team of Business Development Representatives in a call center environment. The ideal candidate will have commercial insurance experience and be able to lead and grow a sales team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead team calling on new Insurance Agency prospects and appointed Insurance Agencies to promote new products and cross sell existing products
• Coach, develop, and mentor the sales team
• Create call campaigns based on the needs of the organization
• Manage and create webinars to promote products
• Grow existing team of 4 to 20 Business Development Reps

Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years previous sales and/or marketing experience in a call center environment
• Knowledge of commercial insurance forms and coverages for construction
• Proven ability to grow a team

Compensation, Benefits, & Perks
$90,000 to $115,000. 100% employer-paid health insurance
