Director of Financial Reporting - Houston, Texas
Growing and profitable Property and Casualty Insurance company is seeking a manager for their financial reporting unit in Houston. Candidates will have a role in the leadership and functioning of the accounting department and an opportunity to grow in your career. You will manage an accounting staff and be a part of the management team.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 6 years accounting experience in a P&C insurance organization - carrier or MGA
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting required
- GAAP Accounting experience. Statutory accounting is a plus
- 2 years of Supervisory/management experience is highly preferred
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Good communication and analytical skills
- CPA is required
- Public accounting experience is a plus
