Job Description
As Drift for Airports looks to expand nationally, the ability to efficiently and effectively stand up new locations will be a critical enabler of growth. An established playbook, and having the right leader on the ground will prove essential. This role will oversee all aspects of new market launches, taking a location from its bare bones beginnings, all the way to a fully functioning facility. It will touch all aspects of standing up a new location, including hiring, marketing, procurement, and partnerships among other activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute against and contribute to the Market Launch Playbook
- Help drive the hiring process for a full-time site manager, then support their training and on-boarding
- Facilitate the hiring/sourcing of the operations team and their initial training
- Ensure customer service, claims, roadside, and other support functions are prepped for go-live
- Support go-to-market team in identifying local marketing opportunities, planning any launch events, and developing relationships with potential long-term vehicle suppliers
- Work closely with the Drift for Airports General Manager to flag concerns, navigate roadblocks, and to develop strategy around engaging local stakeholders, legislators, and other potential visitors to the facility
- Maintain a strong relationship with the 3rd party parking lot operator; proactively address concerns and engage all levels of their staff
Job Qualifications
Education and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree is required
- The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of experience in field-related work
Functional Skills
- Willingness to travel extensively – expect ~80% travel, including some weekends (will compensate with weekdays off)
- Excellent and ruthless problem solver – Quickly gets to the root cause of an issue, identifies options in how to solve, and prosecutes solutions effectively
