Midstate Mutual Insurance – Underwriting Assistant
Midstate Mutual Insurance, located in the Finger Lakes region of New York State is currently looking for an Underwriting Assistant to add to our staff.
In this position you will work closely with our Underwriters and provide assistance in:
- Contacting our Agents to obtain underwriting information.
- Order inspections.
- Print renewals.
- Print quarterly reports.
- Act as a back-up to our underwriting staff when they are out of the office.
- Process endorsements and enter quotes and distribute to appropriate underwriter.
The successful candidate must have a minimum of:
- Associates degree.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Pursuit of insurance educational courses helpful.
