Questpro is currently partnered with a National Wholesale Broker that is looking for an Assistant Broker / Underwriter to join their Dallas team. The ideal candidate will have experience in property & casualty insurance as well as policy coverage.

This is a full-time position that offers growth and will allow someone to jump-start their career in the insurance industry. If you are looking to become an Underwriter or Broker, this is excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clears new business and order loss runs
• Prepares worksheets for policies and endorsements.
• Prepares submissions as instructed by the Broker/UW
• Reviews policies and endorsements prior to issuance
• Order inspections and solicits renewals
• Handles Premium Finance Notices

EXPERIENCE

• 1+ years of knowledge of P&C Insurance, policies, and coverages
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or related insurance experience and/or training
• Risk Management Degree is a huge plus.
• P&C license preferred, but not required. Company will help obtain.
