Under minimal supervision, quotes and binds multiple personal lines products through a variety of third party carriers. Leverages internal/external quoting platforms to provide customers with multiple solutions that meet their insurance needs. Ensures that fulfillment of customers insurance policies are completed in an accurate and timely manner.

Responsibilities:


  • Under minimal supervision, utilizes various selling techniques to understand and meet the needs of the customer.

  • Through multiple lead sources, quotes and binds various personal lines products via Liberty and third party carriers.

  • Fosters a positive and personal connection with our internal and external customers during each interaction.

  • Gathers critical risk information from prospects or policyholders to ensure an appropriate premium for the risk is delivered, working directly with underwriters within the Choice Platform to assess risk of varying complexity.

  • Counsels prospects on appropriate levels of coverage and/or products in a clear and concise manner. Develops customized quotes based upon acquired risk information and the individual needs of the customer in conjunction with the best fit for the carrier.

  • Handles multiple complex and technical systems and processes in an efficient manner.

  • Leverages Supervisor assistance, when appropriate, to navigate complex prospect or policyholder inquiries or concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or equivalent training plus a minimum of 1-2 years of insurance telesales; preferably within an independent agency or broker environment.

  • Must have proficient PC, technical, analytical, decision making and organizational skills as well as strong interpersonal and persuasive skills in order to communicate effectively with customers & prospects, as well as to close various personal line sales.

  • Property & Casualty license required.
