Job Description
The Integration Consultant will be responsible for the implementation of Allstate Benefits products onto select external technology benefits platforms, in a manner that will enable scalable growth. This role will partner closely with the Partner Development Consultant to fully understand both the requirements and processes needed to support the Allstate Benefits offering as well as the assigned technology partners’ benefits administration and enrollment platform.
This role will also closely partner with the supporting Enrollment Operations and cross-functional business teams. A key accountability will be to seamlessly transition the business processing for supported partners into the broader operational data processing and business teams once the integration and any development work has been completed, including system testing, EDI file testing, data analysis, implementation and enrollment processing workflows, and supporting reference documentation. This role will also be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of existing partner systems to provide guidance in additional developments, modification, and integration opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Senior individual contributor who supports the partner level implementation for key technology distribution partner relationships.
- Identify and suggest process and technology opportunities which will improve the business model, service offering to customers and drive internal efficiencies.
- Assess gaps in current partnership performance and determine systematic solutions to drive growth and achieve operational effectiveness; implementing strategic change when needed to achieve business goals.
- Facilitate and advocate issue resolution with technology partners.
- Communicate product and detailed data specifications to platform vendor supporting the integration and development initiatives.
- Provide direction to and communication with EDI file developers on best practice integration with internal processing systems.
- Perform full system and data testing with technology platforms.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to field sales distribution, brokers and technology partners regarding data strategies to support Allstate Benefits products.
- Support critical and highly complex partner integration initiatives; driving the development and implementation of an effective, consistent, and repeatable partner development program.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelors preferred in the Computer Science or business related fields or related experience; minimum of 2 years as Systems Integration Analyst
- Project management skills – 1 to 3 years’ experience managing multiple projects
- Knowledge and understanding of the voluntary benefit enrollment process.
- Highly analytical and technical orientation; advanced knowledge of enrollment platforms, systems and integration components; advanced skills in data testing, auditing, analysis and reporting.
- Advance knowledge of Microsoft SQL, Excel, and system administration platforms.
- Complex problem solving and critical thinking skills – ability to think outside of the box, using knowledge, logic and reasoning to identify appropriate solutions and approaches to potential problems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and hold peers accountable for delivering results.
- Communication skills commensurate for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage concurrent conflicting priorities.
- Proficient implementing and processing entire AB electronic product suite (L70 & Genelco).
