Job Summary
As the VP of Infrastructure Production Services within Infrastructure and Cloud Services (ICS), you will lead an organization responsible for change, incident, problem management analytics and reporting. As the leader of Production Services you will help to ensure that we are taking a proactive and predictive approach to problem identification and remediation by applying leading edge data and analytics technologies and processes. The successful candidate will have a strong focus on customer service, operational stability, engineering improvement best practices, and root cause analysis. In addition, you will have a strong alignment with our line of business CIO organizations to ensure we are partnering on driving the best end to end experience and technology solutions for our customers and employees. Strong communication, collaboration, and technical service management skills are required to ensure a coordinated and focused approach to problem identification and resolution. The leader of Infrastructure Production Services will also be responsible for facilitating a proactive and forward looking business relationship management practice, automated batch operations, and best practice help desk model.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Experience with modern technologies, architectures and agile development methods, and are comfortable operating in complex, fast-moving environments
  • Able to build and lead high-functioning teams and can help attract, develop, and retain top engineering talent
  • Develop and implement the operational tools and processes necessary to improve reliability. This includes leveraging data and analytics to help drive informed and comprehensive diagnosis and remediation of issues
  • Experience with best practice continuous improvement process that includes incident analysis, prioritizing and implementing improvements, and ongoing emphasis on prediction and prevention
  • Leadership qualities include fostering teamwork and trust, exhibiting respectful and transparent communication, demonstrating collaboration both with their peers and across Tech & Ops, supporting and lead change, and fostering diversity and inclusiveness


Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 7 years of progressive work experience in the technology space and a minimum of 4 years of people management experience required.

Education, Work Experience & Knowledge
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, advanced degree a plus
  • 10+ years of experience including 5+ managing and developing engineering teams
  • Experience with agile development practices/methodologies
  • Experience developing and supporting public cloud-based platforms


Job Specific & Technical Skills & Competencies
Technical knowledge: Experience and technical expertise in multiple engineering disciplines including, but not limited to: end-user computing, mobility, video conferencing, broadcast TV, unified communications & collaboration (including the full Microsoft tool suite) and content management solutions across the enterprise. Experience and expertise with Agile & DevOps methodologies and tools. Able to evaluate market and industry trends within related technical domains. Possesses strong analytical skills to effectively create recommendations, influence decision-making, assess impacts, compare solutions, problem solve, and achieve business and/or technical objectives. Thoroughly understands how overall responsibilities fit within broader technical environment and has strong ability to influence technology recommendations for the enterprise. Experience leading large scale technology organization and building and leading large teams. Communication Skills: Able to build strong relationships and foster a collaborative environment across Business and Shared Technology organizations. Expert written and oral communication at all levels, both internally and externally. Expert presentation skills used to influence other leaders across the Enterprise. Business knowledge and partnership. Able to demonstrate thorough understanding of business and financial acumen and proactively makes recommendations. Able to actively influence customers and business partners to solve problems and ensures products and services are utilized effectively and efficiently. Able to provide strategic solutions tailored to meet business objectives. Team Orientation: As a change champion, leads and welcomes innovative ideas and drives continuous improvement, process improvement, and service optimization. Exhibits team leadership, provides guidance, feedback and coaching to direct reports. Influences all levels and contributes to the transformation agenda. Responsible for building and inspiring a large organization. Leads functional objectives and priorities across multiple technologies, platforms, and teams.
