Location: Jersey City, NJ
Length of Assignment: Direct Hire
Compensation: $200,000 to $225,000 Annually plus bonus, Depending on Experience
Job Description:
Our client is currently seeking a Sr. Vice President of General Liability in the Jersey City, NJ area. This position is responsible for leading and managing a team of claims professionals adjudicating severity claims impacting Excess Casualty, Medical Liability, and Life Sciences policies, as well as Construction Defect claims. This role reports to the Senior Vice President of Casualty Claims for Personal & Commercial Lines.
Required Qualifications:
- 15+ years of claims management/operations experience in General Liability
- Direct oversight of claims Directors, Managers, and Supervisors
- Experience with litigation management, large loss reporting, best practices, client relations, and staff development
- Experience working directly with a Carrier
- Maintain and communicate legislative actions, industry trends, and developments in general liability
- Strong knowledge of claims on a nationwide basis
- Bachelor's Degree
