Job Family Summary
Group New Business is responsible for the administration of the Allstate Benefits Group Insurance including new group installation and enrollment processing.
Job Description
Process incoming enrollment data into the Genelco system accurately and timely. Receive and prepare incoming enrollment from all entry points. Review and release new group business. Monitor and research customer inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform Quality Review of data keyed by coworkers
• Review electronic error reports and make corrections
• Order ID cards and certificates
• Process returned mail notating the Genelco system with details
• Process incoming mail and distribute or prep for scanning
• Process work items in queues adding pertinent data into the CSD box and updating status to drive the work item to the next queue
• Coding of enrollment forms for keying
• Processing of Evidence of Insurability forms
• Review new group paperwork to verify accurate data, release for further processing
• Review electronic files reporting for errors and correct same.
• Process paperwork to perform Agent of Record changes.
• Function effectively and collaboratively in a team environment
Job Qualifications
• Accurate Data Entry skills
• Knowledge of Genelco preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Insurance Knowledge preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Written and oral communications skills required
Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
