National Sales Manager - Life Insurance

Established, $1B+ Insurance Company located in Cleveland, Ohio is seeking a National Sales Manager to oversee the entire sales function for the company. Reporting to the CEO, you will manage five (5) Regional Sales Managers who each have a territory of agents that they are responsible for. You will motivate, train, incentivize, and monitor the performance of these Regional Sales Managers to help them reach and exceed production goals. Responsibilities:
•Directly manage a staff of 5 Regional Sales Managers (RSM) – hiring, training, motivating, etc.
•Monitor commission and incentive plans for the RSM’s – and the commissions they pay to the independent agency plant
•Perform market analysis to identify trends – and adjust sales strategy accordingly
•Oversee and evaluate employee performance
•Attend Board of Director meetings and maintain reports for Executive Leadership

Qualifications:
•8+ years in a sales and marketing role
•3+ years of sales management and leadership experience
•Thorough knowledge of life insurance and annuity products
•Bachelor’s degree required
