damage estimator who will complete estimates from photos, and negotiate supplements with repair facilities utilizing live-streaming video! If you have the passion to help

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Makes and maintains a connection with the customer by understanding and meeting their needs; serves the customer with empathy; and follows up to ensure that customer needs have been met
File Documentation and Reporting
- Summarizes documents and enters into claim system notes
- Documents a claim file with notes, evaluations and decision making process
Damage Estimating
- Investigates basic and occasionally moderately complex files, reviews damage, takes photos, and determines reparability or total loss
- Prepares damage estimates and locates parts for basic and occasionally moderately complex claims.
- Prepares, reviews, reconciles and/or approves supplements
- Conditions vehicles
- May determine valuation of salvage
- Evaluates diminished value in a basic or occasionally moderately complex claim
Claim Payment Processes - Issuance and Authority
- Processes claims payments
- Initiates system generated checks and pays appropriate parties
Negotiation and Settlement Guidance
- Negotiates and settles basic and occasionally moderately complex claims in accordance with business unit best practices
Other Projects and Responsibilities
- May serve on a committee or project as appropriate
- May participate in one or more basic or occasionally moderately complex special assignments
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience
•Minimum six months auto estimating writing experience.
•Minimum three to six months experience in the automotive industry (service, mechanical, total loss, etc.)
•General knowledge of automobile parts and repair techniques
•Working experience of estimating platforms such as ADP, CCC, or Mitchell
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Strong organizational and computer skills
•I-CAR or ASE Certification, and/or Adjusters license are desirable
•Bilingual and military candidates are strongly encouraged to apply -

Failure to complete these requirements within the time frame designated by the hiring department may result in the termination of your employment with Allstate Insurance Company.
