Responsibilities:
The Senior Consultant in the Professional Liability Department handles from inception to conclusion a pending of claims consisting mainly of complex and/or high value medical malpractice claims in litigation. Must have: Detailed knowledge of casualty insurance policies. Detailed knowledge of medical and legal terms. Experience reviewing lawsuits, including very complex complaints, in both state and federal courts. Experience attending mediations. Ability to produce detailed yet concise claim summaries and recommendations for settlement or defense of claims. Ability to correspond and communicate effectively and professionally with insureds, defense attorneys and plaintiff attorneys.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree required
•5 Years of professional experience related to the position
