Job Details

PremiumAudit.com is looking for a professional, hard-working individual with 5+ years of Insurance Premium Audit experience for our Plano, TX office. This is a salary position with benefits and incentives based on results and success.

SUPERVISOR:

Responsible for the development, motivation, and support of a small team. The Premium Audit Supervisor will work closely with other Managers to meet or exceed department objectives.

REVIEWER:

Ensure worker’s comp and general liability policy audits are completed in accordance with NCCI, Texas Workers’ Comp, ISO rules and premium audit guidelines. All job duties and responsibilities must be carried out in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

TRAINER:

Work with professionals new to PremiumAudit.com to ensure quality premium audits. Mentor new auditors in training through ride-along time.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze physical audits prepared by internal and external auditors. Examine audits for errors, review classifications, operations and ownership of each insured and confirm all named insured’s/locations. Apply appropriate classification codes in accordance with manual rules, state regulations and premium audit standards to determine the appropriate premium for each carrier. Reconcile exposure basis against verification source documents.
  • Analyze existing data, ISO rules, industry, and statutory materials as well as claims. Consult with premium auditors to research particulars of physical audits.
  • Respond to and resolve audit disputes and make appropriate changes to revise audits as needed. Compile pertinent facts related to disputes, documents and communicate the results of the analysis.
  • Maintain familiarity with all insurance manuals, premium audit manuals, guides, and related materials.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree OR Associate’s degree with a concentration in Business or Accounting is desirable but not required.
  • 5+ years of Premium Audit experience is a must.
  • NCCI, Texas Workers’ Comp, ISO rules and classification experience is a must.
  • The ability to work independently is a must.
  • Strong PC skills including Microsoft Excel is a must.
  • Possess solid interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to evaluate and process information to determine if the outcome is logical and credible.
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness is a must.
