Job Details
AmTrust Financial Services, a fast growing commercial insurance company, has an immediate need for a Complex Claims Adjuster.
Responsibilities- Directly handing the most complex of Workers Compensation claims located with the region.
- Investigate coverage and compensability on large/complex claims
- Timely establish reserves on large complex claims
- Report out to senior leadership and business partners
- Aggressively pursue resolution opportunities on complex claims
- Build relationships with business partners to ensure cost containment and effective claim handing.
- Properly utilize and document all files in the claim system of record.
- 5-7+ years of Workers Compensation claim handing experience.
- Technical expert in Workers’ Compensation
- Large Loss/Complex Claim experience.
- Strong communication skills with ability to present to senior leadership.
- Ability to mentor less senior level adjusters
- Regional jurisdictions expertise
- Ability to develop reports, metrics, and process improvement plans.
Education:
- CPCU, AIC designation, adjuster licensing program or other industry training programs a plus
