Job Purpose

This job is responsible for the picking and shipping of devices to customers by utilizing automated picking devices such as hand scanners, auto baggers, and software programs. Will also process through packaging devices for shipment with an external vendor for the sole purpose of satisfying internal and external customer demands.

Primary Job Accountabilities/
Responsibilities

This is a physically active role involved in the printing of pick tickets of devices to be pulled to meet customer demand. Walking to a pick aisle on a concrete floor to select devices utilizing electronic devices and scanning that item into a tote. Once the tote is filled with several devices it is brought back to the packing station. At the packing station the individual would scan the pick ticket, scan the device to ensure picking accuracy and prepare a shipping envelope. Will operate a computer and computer peripherals in the selection and shipping of devices.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to operate a computer and computer peripherals
• Data entry into existing programs
• Familiar with Spreadsheet software — Microsoft Excel- able to navigate, create, and enter data into spread sheets
• Familiar with Word processing software — Microsoft Word- ability to type a document
  
• Constant: Standing and walking on concrete floor while push/pull or carry up to forty (40) pounds of material.
• Occasional: bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching, twisting, exposure to changes in temperature, being near moving machinery, and office machinery
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

• Using computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to enter data and process information
• Monitor and review information from materials, events, or the environment to detect or assess problems
• Add proper inserts/sleeves for the proper channels to each order
• Prepare specific international documents and apply appropriate country specific product warning labels.
• Operate the PadPak machine to create filler for the shipments
• Customer expectations required individuals to work OT to meet SLA daily deadlines.
