Job Summary
Responsibilities include strategy, design, development, operational maintenance, and implementation of enterprise-wide core systems and services supporting the business. The core systems and services would include next generation Digital Workforce and productivity on-prem/cloud technologies.

Operates at a strategic level and contributes to the overall direction of the Digital Workforce at Travelers. Responsibilities include strategy, design, development, operational maintenance, and implementation of enterprise-wide core systems and services supporting the business. The core systems and services would include next generation Digital Workforce and productivity on-prem/cloud technologies.
The product scope for Digital Workforce includes Win10, O365, MS Office, SCCM, Citrix VDI, Tanium, Digital Cloud Services, and End User Computing client hardware.
This Engineer is also responsible for product management, communications to business units, executives and other technology members and for providing best of breed services and solutions in the organization

Under general supervision, demonstrates a thorough understanding of the activities performed related to engineering support, installation and/or operations of infrastructure technologies. Plans at an operational level designing and developing technology solutions interfacing with appropriate customers, management and technical resources. Facilitates and/or participates in the design, development, and implementation of large complex technology solutions supporting one or more business and/or technology areas. Develops and implements appropriate solutions that may involve multiple platforms, databases, software/hardware technologies and tools. Strong ability to multi-task in an environment of changing priorities. This job is a team lead.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for planning, communicating and delivering on technical components and strategies for relevant Service Area(s) with a focus on Mobile Employee, Workspace of the future, Team of the future and seamless access to information including enterprise Search technologies.Responsible for contributing to the strategy, delivery and execution of solutions to challenging and large-scale engineering deliverables.Partners and consults with business leaders to offer infrastructure solutions that meet business needs with agility and ability to handle ambiguity.Responsible for communicating status, strategic direction, and results of assigned work. May leadership level briefings on programs, strategic direction, status on issues and service financials.
Evaluates systems specifications regarding customer requirements, transforming specifications into cost-effective, technically correct solutions. Prioritizes work and manages projects within established budget objectives and customer priorities. Responsible for establishing and managing to established quality control and security protocols. Provides the division, department and business area management with timely and accurate information regarding the status and performance of the assigned project(s). Leverages technology to develop, redesign and/or implement optimal technology solutions. Builds, leverages, and maintains effective alliances across technical and business community. Interacts with customers to achieve efficient, effective results. Multi-tasks, prioritizes according to business priorities and production availability requirements. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required. 3 years of experience in Technology required.

Education, Work Experience & Knowledge
Bachelor's degree in Technology or a related field preferred. 5 years of experience in Technology preferred. Design and engineering experience implementing the infrastructure using Windows or Citrix. Experience with group policy management - system design - strong windows 10

Strong scripting (Powershell) /automation background is required to help simplify and problem solve
Any prior development/programming a plus

Environmental/Work Schedules/Other
Weekend work hours , Overnight work hours, Holiday work hours (Federal and religious) as needed. Opportunity to work one or two days remotely a week.
