Under general direction within our East & West Product Solutions Team, you will provide technical and analytical assessments of issues facing the business unit. You will collaborate with the East - West regional product teams to understand market differences and execute projects to support global objectives. Our global team is expanding and works with local product teams to identify and structure best practices, sharing ideas and stream-lining existing processes. You will also have the opportunity to present work to senior managers and occasionally to Product SVP's.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides recommendations on appropriate tools and techniques to perform analysis.

  • Performs qualitative and quantitative analyses and clearly summarizes findings.

  • You will help us develop global perspective on product offerings and facilitate knowledge sharing across the regions.

  • Queries data where available, to conduct ad hoc analysis of metrics and answer business questions.

  • You work with product managers to identify trends and issues in product line(s) and make actionable recommendations.

  • You will be conducting competitive intelligence and understand the market trends for a product line.

  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and can identify creative solutions to work through and push projects forward.

  • Build technical tools and processes for others to use and/or critically assess existing tools and processes and make recommendations for improvements.

  • You are able to lead your own work streams on projects and manage projects of varying levels of complexity.

  • Serve as a resource for less experienced analysts and occasionally mentor others as requested.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, statistics or other quantitative field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years or more of relevant work experience.
  • You must be comfortable working with ambiguity and problem solving.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to adapt to different cultures and groups within and outside the organization.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and data querying programs (SAS, and most importantly an advanced proficiency with VBA (Visual Basic) is highly desirable for this position.
  • Must have good planning, organizational, analytical, decision making and communication skills.
