As a Technical Operations Manager, you will serve as a champion for the customer and primary point of contact for technical operations during the implementation and production phases. You will work directly with customer-facing staff and technical teams across multiple business groups to maintain and execute an operational runbook for assigned systems, coordinate change management activities, oversee incident and problem processes, monitor adherence to contractual SLAs, identify cost reduction opportunities, and drive improvement of service delivery processes. Additionally, using various software applications, you will be responsible for developing and presenting operational metrics and reports that reflect the health of solutions and efficiency of service delivery processes in support of them.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical liaison between the Client, Business groups and Development
  • Understand business and client requirements and propose solutions
  • Requirements gathering, analysis and management with subsequent creation of requirements documents such as Business requirements document (BRD), Functional Requirements Documents (FRD), Functional Specifications Document (FSD), Use Case Documents (USD)
  • Identifies opportunities to streamline operations and enhance service delivery
  • Takes ownership of responsibilities, working individually or with teams to accomplish goals
  • Ability to multi task, given various task assignments, assisting management in prioritization of tasks'
  • Works with all departments throughout the product delivery cycle to ensure project dates are met and ensure timely completion of Product Analyst deliverable(s)
  • Be the Voice of the Client
  • Identifies opportunities to streamline operations and enhance service delivery
Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in the BI/BA/BSA/DBA field .
  • 2+ years’ of Client facing experience
  • Comfortable in an ambiguous, ever changing environment
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Strong knowledge of business finance, marketing, and negotiation
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills with both customers and within the corporation
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Self-motivated, innovative and able to work autonomously with little direction
  • Professional demeanor
  • Ability to be the voice of the customer
  • Strong multitasking skill
  • Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills and experience
  • Self-starter who is excited about learning new technology
