The Allstate Subrogation Team is responsible for seeking reimbursement from at-fault and responsible third parties. On this team, you would consistently work with third party insurance companies and uninsured claimants to restore customer lives in their time of need. In this role, you would take ownership of claims to bring them to close quickly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Makes and maintains a connection with the customer by understanding and meeting their needs; serves the customer with compassion; and follows up to ensure that customer needs have been met
- Manages inbound and outbound calls
- Collaborate in team problem solving discussions
- Performs clerical duties, including data entry, filing paper documents, email, calendar management, and word processing
- Handles claim files (locates/requests files, files paperwork, reconstructs missing files, moves misfiled documents, sends to other offices, etc.)
- Retrieves, prints and faxes, or mails supporting documentation to vendors or others as directed
- Provides back-up for any support functions in the office
- Connects with customers or other claim related third parties to obtain and/or provide necessary file information to align with quality and process standards
- Generates and sends appropriate forms to insured/claimant for completion
- Processes claims payments
- Completes all required forms, logs documents into the system, and routes them to the appropriate parties
- Participates in or assists in training new or less experienced employees and demonstrating work processes for shared success
- Take ownership of pending claims, analyze documentation and settle basic, straight-forward, and routine claims efficiently and effectively
START DATE: Monday, November 4th, 2019
Starting salary: $16.00 hourly / $33,280 annually (paid bi-weekly)
TRAINING:
- Training schedule will be Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:45 PM
- Complete training runs for 6 weeks and is mandatory. Due to the importance of training, no time off will be permitted during this period

Job Qualifications
- Customer service experience required
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required
- Claims handling experience preferred
- Collections experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping others
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent time management skill
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer, typing and grammar skills
- Bilingual applicants fluent in English and Spanish encouraged to apply
- Prior Military are encouraged to apply
