What does a HRIS ANALYST do?

  • HRIS subject matter expert providing guidance within the HR team for all process changes and enhancement considerations.
  • HRIS point of contact for the Human Resources and Payroll functional areas and facilitate communication meetings between areas as required.
  • Provide Tier III level support for issues related to both functional and technical HRIS issues and provide root cause analysis.
  • Perform in a lead role in the more complex and critical annual processes associated with HRIS (purge process, yearend transfers, etc.) and other HRIS projects; requires ability to communicate and collaborate with other functional areas.
  • Partner with IT, Third Party Vendors, and End Users to prepare project plans for HRMS upgrades, patches, and major enhancements.
  • Coordinate efforts between business process owners from different areas to gather requirements, develop specifications, and test changes to the HRIS system.
  • Serve as HR analytical internal consultant in support of HR business processes and data integration.
  • Investigate complex issues or problems and provide resolution.
  • Serve as liaison between HRIS, end users and third party vendors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What is required?

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required

Experience:

  • 5 – 7 years of relevant HRIS experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience with exposure to the integrated processes of HR/Payroll/Benefits/Time & Attendance.
  • Ultimate Software Experience is required.
  • Experience with Talent Management modules (compensation, ATS, performance management, etc.) and functional knowledge of associated HR business processes required.
  • Advanced expertise with Microsoft Office suite necessary
  • Self-motivated and proven ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be a strong team player who is able to work across multiple functions and disciplines
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills that will allow expression of key points in a clear manner
  • Must have organization and prioritization skills and possess a strong attention to detail
  • Must have the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and manage multiple priorities
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively to various audiences
  • Must maintain a thorough knowledge of Company policies/ procedures
