Job Family Summary
The ARS Network Analytics organization is responsible for supporting the Network Field team through development of advanced analytics, reporting and market-level strategies that enhance our ability to attain a superior customer experience and meet overall business goals. Network Analytics supports areas across ARS to provide insight into network performance and analysis related to planning, forecasting and pricing exercises.
Job Description
The ARS Network Analytics Senior Consultant provides analytical support of the ARS service provider network, working directly with the Network Performance Managers. The position will perform advanced reporting and market level analysis of the service provider network to maximize customer experience and manage loss-cost targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily execution of analysis and communication of operational results, development of compelling storylines and formulation of financial projections for the service provider network.
- Partner directly with field network performance managers to analyze the marketplace to drive a superior customer experience and control loss costs.
- Inspire trust and confidence in business areas through strategic and diplomatic handling of relationships
- Facilitate achievement of service provider network business objectives with limited guidance from the manager while managing multiple deadlines, accountabilities and competing priorities.
- Ensure Network Operations credibility and reputation of high quality (accurate, timely, relevant) financial measurement, reporting, planning, forecasting and consulting.
- Build and communicate convincing storylines and forward thinking insights (with minimum focus/reliance on the numbers) to help Network leaders (operations and field) understand results and anticipate/understand challenges and opportunities for the service provider network.
- Assist in the development of Network Analytics process documentation and communication of best practices and opportunity areas for the network performance managers and field leaders.
- Proactively demonstrate opportunities to leadership that enhance our position in the marketplace and strategic opportunities that improve our ability to serve both our customers and partners in the network
- Consistently produce accurate and timely initiative focused reporting for leadership on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
Job Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, operational analysis, or similar functions
- Experience with financial or operational modeling, forecasting, planning, and goal definition and tracking
- Proven ability to collect and analyze data, model the problem, communicate the results to clients, and provide insight into the problem and possible solutions
- Advanced time management and organization skills, with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business.
- Intellectual curiosity and drive for continuous improvement utilizing industry best practices in statistical techniques to develop business solutions.
- Effective communication skills across multiple levels and mediums.
- Experience in or the ability to quickly develop expertise in applications such as Excel, Tableau, PowerPoint, etc.
- Applies knowledge of problem solving and preparation of complex reports for analysis.
- High attention to detail, team player, and strategic influencer.
- BA or BS in finance, economics, accounting mathematics or related areas of study.
