Job Description
Allstate Insurance has exciting career opportunities for Unrepresented Casualty Adjusters in Irving, Texas!

As an Unrepresented Casualty Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating moderately complex claims when our Allstate customers are involved in a vehicle accident with injuries to 1st and 3rd parties. You will need to deliver compassionate service that is fast, fair, and easy, to ensure customer retention while verifying coverage, investigating and determining liability, reviewing and resolving damages, and negotiating and settling complex claims.
You will work independently, prioritizing your responsibilities, and managing your workload. You will also consistently meet band level behaviors, production, quality, and/or customer service goals. Key Responsibilities
- Makes and maintains a connection with the customer by understanding and meeting their needs; serves the customer with empathy; and follows up to ensure that customer needs have been met
- Researches and responds to moderately complex customer communications, concerns, conflicts or issues
- Determines and explains minimum coverage limits in moderately complex claims involving single or multiple claimants
- Sets initial reserve, updates reserve, documents rationale and claim summary notes
- Obtains photos and/or conducts scene investigation
- Takes recorded statement from claimant, insured, witness, medical provider, etc., conducts investigations into moderately complex auto accidents, determines liability and prepares summaries to determine the claim's value
- Considers and recommends use of experts and reviews reports
- Reviews file to identify moderately complex potential legal issues
- Negotiates and settles claims in accordance with business unit best practices
- Reviews medical reports in preparation for claims settlement evaluation
Job Qualifications
- 6+ months of unclear liability investigation experience required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Ability to interact effectively, and coach others on interacting effectively, with internal or external customers and act with empathy
- Applies knowledge of claim processes, policies, procedures, claim systems, coverage, liability, damage estimating, and/or settlement, and adherence to applicable legal compliance standards
- Applies broad knowledge of problem solving and preparation of reports for analysis
- Applies broad conflict management and problem resolution skills in handling internal and external customer relationships
- Applies broad analytical skills to continuously improve business outcomes
- Ability to investigate, evaluate, negotiate and settle complex claims
- Has and maintains all appropriate licenses and registrations for the role per state requirements
