Job Summary
Under general supervision design, implement and maintain a large Enterprise System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) environment with 50K+ WIN10 endpoints. Design and implement emerging technologies (SCCM Co-Management, Intune, Auto Pilot, endpoint Peering technologies) with a focus on leveraging cloud-based solutions. Optimize the exiting SCCM environment to provide best-in-class Microsoft servicing framework to deploy on-going Microsoft feature updates for Windows 10 and Office 365 ProPlus. Strong ability to multi-task in an environment of changing priorities.
Under limited supervision, demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of the activities performed related to engineering support, installation and/or operations of infrastructure technologies. Plans at a tactical level and manages the effective use of technology resources for assigned projects and functions. May direct assigned project staff to design, develop and/or implement large, complex technology solutions supporting one or more business and/or technology area. Develops and implements appropriate solutions that may involve multiple platforms, databases, software/hardware technologies and tools. Facilitates and/or participates in the design and development of database systems. Strong ability to multi-task in an environment of constantly changing priorities. This job is a team lead.
Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Create and modify knowledge base articles and technical documentation as needed
- Partner with cross-functional technology and design teams to integrate technology, operations and solution requirements into solution strategies
- Application Deployment, SD and Patch management
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in Collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Execute large-scale desktop deployment, platform migration, and endpoint management
- Create project deliverable documentation, including design, build and operations guides
Broad role description:
Develops tactics and operational plans in alignment with strategic objectives for assigned technologies and projects. Drives the execution of departmental and corporate programs. Leverages infrastructure technology to develop and/or redesign technology solutions. Builds, leverages, and maintains effective alliances across technical and business community. Interacts with customers to achieve efficient, effective results. Multi-tasks, prioritizes according to business priorities and production availability requirements. Seen as a technical expert within service delivery organization (SDO) and consults across SDOs.

Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required. 5 years of experience in Technology required.
Education, Work Experience & Knowledge
Bachelor's degree in Technology or a related field preferred. 7 years of experience in Technology preferred. 2 years of experience as a technical lead preferred. Advanced knowledge of infrastructure technologies such as Network, Scripting, Active Directory, Server, Storage etc. preferred.
Job Specific & Technical Skills & Competencies
Strong preference for candidates skilled in:
- SCCM Co-Management, Intune, Azure, Auto Pilot deployment experience
- Active Directory (General): 5-7 years (Proficiency Level of Senior)
- Microsoft Operating Systems to Windows 10: 5-7 years (Proficiency Level of Senior)
- Task Sequences - Create and Maintain Windows 10 images, including build tests and patch management: 3-5 years (Proficiency Level of Senior)
- 5+ years' experience with System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) design, architecture, and implementation experience (Proficiency Level of Senior)
- Network connectivity and concepts: 5 years (Proficiency Level of Senior)
- PowerShell (and/or other MS scripting languages): 3-5 years (Proficiency Level of mid to Senior)
- System image building/software packaging: 3-5 years (Proficiency Level of Senior)
- Compost and execute SQL scripts: 3 years (Proficiency level of Junior to mid level)
- Develop, Test and Deploy updates via Windows OS Deployment Automation/SCCM (Proficiency Level of Senior)
- Enhance/Optimize SCCM environment to deploy Windows 10 and Office 365 ProPlus feature releases (Proficiency Level of Senior)
- Team-Oriented - 10 years (Proficiency Level of Senior)
- Project-Oriented - 5 years(Proficiency Level of Senior)
- Strong technical troubleshooting and analytical skills
Not required but preferable knowledge and experiences:
- Enterprise monitoring tools (Zabbix, Greylog, SCOM)
- Windows Analytics, Office 365
- JAMF, Workspace One or other MDM/MAM solutions
Environmental/Work Schedules/Other
Weekend work hours, Overnight work hours, Holiday work hours (Federal and religious) - only as needed

Microsoft MCSE 2012 or 2016 certification is a strong plus
